Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 to 2019, she served as artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. When she was the Artistic Director of SSC she also was the costume designer and set designer for the production as well as composer/music director and text coach. In her last year she worked as a director of lighting and design for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble however, in the last season she made her directorial debut.
